Pine Ice
In cold weather, the geothermal steam in Yellowstone grows on anything within reach. I was fascinated by the horizontal ice during my last visit, an inch or more thick on only one side of every tree or rock in sight. Though I can’t say I captured it the best I could have, it still made for a visual treat. I’ll be going back, though, so I’ll post more as my subject study progresses.
