Non-post

I am unable to post this evening due to the transition from Blogger to WordPress. The process is going well - I was finally able to figure out how to import my old posts into the new interface without having to manually recreate each one. Because I use a FTP setup to host my image files for this blog on another domain, I’m unable to use the integrated import function within WordPress. I’ll probably end up losing my comments at this point, but I’m looking for a way to import those also. With regard to timeline for the new blog site, I’m expecting to have it up and running by March 1st. Depending on how things go, I’ll update you all accordingly.

Since there’s not much to look at here… If you haven’t seen CodyRedmon.com, my professional portfolio site, why not take a few minutes to browse the galleries there. As most of my photographs have not been posted on this blog, you’ll likely find something new and visually appealing. I don’t have commenting set up yet, so if something catches your eye don’t hesitate leave one here.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope to have something new up for you tomorrow afternoon.

~~ Cody

  1. I just wanted to thank you for visiting. What a surprise! I look forward to checking out your new site, sorry about the bumps in the road, but I’m sure it will turn out great. For now I’ll check out your professional site and the photos you have on Vazaar. Funny thing, after looking at the shot that we have in common, I realized I had also created a similar work in my Printmaking class. A similar point of view from inside the car, looking out the front window with a texture of somesort on the glass, and a bit of the rearview mirror! Anyway, best of luck to you.

  2. Hi Diane,

I was glad to visit your blog, it’s always good to see images from other locations and of different styles. I’ve been visiting a lot of photography sites lately and am always amazed at how differently we all see the world around us and are able to capture it in distinct ways!
