And to wrap up my ‘week of Yellowstone’ images… These old fellows were fighting with each other near Slough Creek in the Park, whether for play for something more I cannot say. But it’s not the rutting season so it was likely a friendly bout. To that end, I wasn’t seeing dirt and fur fly, as is typically the case when they’re in rut.

I apologize for the delay in my response. Thank you for your comment, it sure felt like I was right in the middle of this confrontation, though I was about 30 or 40 feet away. A lot of power being tossed around there, even if they are cold and tired beasts this time of year.
