Newness ssenweN

Welcome to my new blog. An updated look, an new URL (http://blog.codyredmon.com) and a host of new features and options. I am still working on the final touches, though, so I ask for your patience. If you come across any bugs or glitches, please leave me a message using the Contact page or here on this post.

I believe my feed will begin to redirect properly, so if you’re subscribed to my blog via RSS or email they should both continue to work properly. My old blog will remain in place, though I will post my last entry there later tonight as a notice that I’ve moved. I’m working on some permalink redirects and a few other things, but that’s for this week to sort out. Again, thanks for visiting!

Tonight’s image is of a recent sunset over the Bridger Mountains. Though the foreground was not lit very well, the rays of light were simply amazing. A rarity for me, this image actually contains pixels that have zero-information, or are pure white. I don’t like blowing things out, but I guess you just can’t help it when you’re shooting straight into the sun…

***Site Updates - 1. I had to remove the language translation links at the top of the sidebar due to layout and caching problems, 2. “Popularity” feature has a duplication bug on posts in the archive view been removed, 3. to that effect, all of my previous posts from the old site are here in the archives.  Feel free to click around the tag cloud, which is more of a ‘location cloud’ than anything.

A native and current resident of Montana, I fell in love with landscapes at an early age. Growing up in a rural area gave me access to explore my interest while visiting some truly amazing places. I have a deep respect for the wilds and am pleased to present to you scenes and vistas from the back reaches of the western US and beyond. Professional portfolio site: CodyRedmon.com
