Log on Water

Many thanks to everyone for making my launch day a successful one. I sent out an e-mail to friends and relatives and got some great feedback - it is all much appreciated. But because I’ve been a bit busy lately with the new blog, I haven’t been able to get out and photograph that much. So, today’s image comes from the vault… Taken this past summer at Elbow Lake in the Absaroka Mountains, I was captured by the plants growing out on the end of this dead log. I do admit, small scenes like this can keep me entertained for longer than most, but it’s the fine details in a busy mess that we can identify with - even when looking at a simple log on water.
