The Walkers
With dreams of warmer days, here is another from the archives. Though I do not typically post images of people, I can’t help but snap the shots as they come by. Taken near Priest Lake, ID, today’s image portrays three dear friends of mine while on an evening stroll. This was our last evening together after nearly a week and the vision of them walking off into the sunset seemed rather fitting. It’s a tradition to get together with these folks each year and I can’t wait until our next adventure - I think we’re going to British Colombia.

Hi Cody! Thanks for the heads up about your move. Everything looks great, layout, photos and all. “Dreaming of warmer days” is also something we’ve been dreaming of here in Connecticut. A fellow photographer of mine, who also has a blog, has received requests from viewer/friends not to post any more snow! So he has started posting images from the “archives” also, ’til the real thing arrives.
Congrats on the new site and I look forward to future posts.
Hi Diane, you beat me to the punch and visited the new site before I could reply to your last message. I can’t say that I’ve had any requests to quit posting cold weather images like your friend, but you’ll notice in my tag cloud that the term Winter is the most common of my tags thus far. Even seeing it in big and bold gives me a chill… Thanks for visiting, glad you like the new layout.
I love Priest Lake! Though I love Pend Oreille better (because I lived closer to it). Really though, we did a lot of camping, hiking, fishing, boating, canoing, and rafting up on Priest Lake and Priest River back when I was an Idahoan.
Hi Cody,
Thanks for the great pictures and for sharing your thoughts and aspirations. My education in photography is certainly limited, but I can appreciate the beauty that you pass on to the rest of us. Your new blog is exciting. Keep up the effort and you will have a great future.

Hey Dad! Thanks for stopping by, and for your support, of course. I’m glad you like my work and that I can share some of my adventures with you. I look forward to having some together as the days begin to warm.
