Erosion of Time

I just got done rebuilding a friend’s computer, and of course it took 7 hours instead of 3. But now he has a clean, fast computer to work with. I love helping folks out… However, I’m now behind on a number of things, so it’s back to the archives and another shot from Utah. This image looks out over the White Rim Road from near the Grand View overlook…if my memory is correct.

  1. I like the way the green plants are electric against the red dirt in the foreground, but then my eye gives way to the endless canyons behind it. So much beauty in this picture!

  2. It’s hard to see from this angle, but the primary plant at bottom-right is growing up through the exposed root of that piñon tree. I have some really neat shots of that as well, I’ll have to post one as a follow-up sometime. Thanks for your visit and kind words.
