The Grazers

One last visit into the images from the trip up Shields Valley, this panorama shows most of the Crazy Mountain range and gives an idea of the surrounding landscape. This image was taken a bit earlier in the evening than yesterday’s post. The light was fairly flat across the scene, yet low enough to the horizon to warm things up a bit. Add this one to my cow-scapes…I might even have to create a new tag for as much. I only see 2, maybe 3 buildings in this photo…that’s one of the things I like most about living in Montana. Just for reference, where I spent the night stuck in my car recently is near the right edge of the photo at the base of the mountains. Good times!

  1. Love the colors here, especially the way the black cows dot the yellow fields. (particularly on this monitor- heh) Beautiful pano, Cody!

  2. Hi Vicki,

I, too, like the gold and blue and how common they are in our landscape. Opposing, complimenting colors - can’t beat ‘em. And about that monitor of yours… :-) Thanks for your comment.
