Stages of Flight

I tried my hand at a bit of ‘vintage’ processing last evening and have decided to post the results for review…despite the slight banding visible in the vignetting that I just can’t seem to correct. The lack of detail, yet presence of grain makes for an interesting effect in the series. The process of aging the shots was done in Photoshop; I like to disclose when images have been altered well beyond what is capable in a traditional darkroom environment. I appreciate the digital era for its convenience, but choose to use it as a means to honor tradition in photography rather than try to define a new one in the name of technology alone.
