My Town
Today was a beautiful day, but I was busy inside trying to get my computer back in order. I also set up a WordPress blog for a friend of mine, which I’ll announce once it’s up and running. I did, however, get out to take some photos for about thirty minutes right before dusk. Wow, I can’t even begin to describe it…so I’ll just show it to you. The rainbow was probably twice as brilliant just moments before I snapped this shot, I was actually kind of late in getting to higher ground.

I took this same picture last night at the same time from down low, power lines and all, no time to get higher, not so great. BUT, that rainbow…so incredibly brilliant when I first saw it, and hard to describe. By the time I got to snapping, it had begun to fade, but the clouds shooting off the mountain still demanded attention. You caught the whole thing…beautiful!
AWESOME!!! The rays of light coming across the sky and the intriguing light cast over the landscape is incredible. Cool!
A great shot with a hint of a rainbow. I like the look of the clouds and town (city ?). So peaceful, yet ready for a storm.
I apologize for the delay in my replies to everyone, it’s been a pretty crazy few weeks. I appreciate all the feedback on this one, I thought it might get a reaction. Spring weather is so crazy in Montana, always ready to surprise with a sudden storm and the beauty that can go alone with it. Regardless of how they look, I’d love to see some of the images you took, Vicki. Again, thanks to everyone for your feedback.
Here is the link to this guys pic. I wanted to share it here so everyone could link the two. Pretty cool that two pics were taken, same day, roughly the same time, of the same thing from 2 miles or so away from each other. Check it out folks.
