Disparity in Life
Nature knows more about ‘equality’ than man could ever deduce – it doesn’t exist. An ideal innately beyond reach, in its place resides ‘disparity’. And with it, beauty for those willing to accept as much. That, my friends, is the realist in me as it comes out in my photography,
but only as a result of the lessons I continue to learn about reality through photography itself.
Touché, mind…

Aptly put, Cody, with your image speaking volumes.
Cody, I’ve kept this unread in Google Reader for almost a week now, expecting to find time to write something profound. OK, it’s got to be not profound: What a wonderful image!!
Thank you both, Vicki and Andreas. I hate sounding too cerebral with my writing, but certain things just stick and must be shared. Vic, when we headed back up there? There’s a whole other shore to explore.
–edit– Vic, did you know this was taken at the Martinsdale Res.? I realized after leaving my comment that the post doesn’t mention it and then I said “when we headed back?” ha!
