Tempest Blooms

The Gravelly Mountains continue to produce amazing photos.  Despite some difficult shooting conditions on my last trip, the images still came out wonderful.  Maybe not quite as many good shots as during previous trips, but it’s hard to walk away from a place so beautiful without a few decent frames…

  1. A slightly haunting yet beautiful scene. Like walking in a field of flowers approaching a forbidden forest. Warning… Darkness ahead.

  2. Great description, Diane, it felt like that all day. Traveling along the edge of this storm for nearly 80 miles on gravel road, it seemed at times that I might just slip over the edge and into the void.
