Evening Cow
The sunset cow; it’s sometimes hard to resist this shot. There are a few things I typically do not like in my images, and cows are among them. I like cows as critters, they’re a way of life where I’m from. But with so many around, it is often impossible to shoot the scenes I [...]
Clouds in Review
I’m moving along quickly with my soon-to-be-unveiled WordPress project; the template is done and I’m re-publishing all of my old posts, updating tags, tidying up a bit…
This image was taken at the request of a friend the same day we ended up in the ditch. I’ve taken a few moments to go back through that [...]

Sheep Mountain in Last Light
Here is another image from my outing last night. The light was fading fast, but the scene was beautiful. Cold, but beautiful.
Evening Bull
I decided to get out there and shoot today, it was up to 12°F where I was in the Shields Valley. The evening light was great, but this is my favorite shot from the drive. I captured some of horses in the same setup, but this one of the bull just seems to [...]
Dark North
This is a new take I’ve processed on an image I took in April, 2006…though I don’t think I’ve ever shown any other versions. Maybe the same scene taken from a different angle, but this should be ‘fresh’ enough to post. My goal was to spend one night this weekend in the igloo [...]
